The sound of the sea is never far away at Alaties Beach Villa, whose position 350m above the pristine little cove of shingle and rocks mean a dip in the clear waters is never far away, although guests might find it hard to tear themselves away from the villa!
This area is known for ‘the best sunset views’ and even the taverna above Alaties beach gets fully booked for the event. Whereas you will have the sunset viewing from your own private terrace at Alaties Beach Villa to soak up the last rays of the sun each day. Jerusalem beach is just a 5 min drive south with the charming family run Taverna Odysseas beside it. Whilst to the northern side of the headland is a quiet stony beach reached by a track, perfect for snorkelling in the impossibly clear waters.
Just 2.5km away, Magganos village has a couple of good tavernas, a mini-market and a grocers.
For a wide choice of tavernas, cafes, boat trips & watersports, it is a 15 minute drive to picturesque Fiscardo which is a must visit in this area of Kefalonia.
