Description
Guests frequently ask us for a private Villa with a pool, within easy walking distance of an unspoilt seaside village with a fishing harbour, a choice of tavernas, a few shops and a baker. It is rare to be offered a Villa that ticks all these boxes but here it is - Villa Atlantis. Just a 5 minute walk to the coastal village of Katelios, spacious and bright inside, and a total delight outside with a private pool and smaller jacuzzi pool. The wide terraces are bordered by swathes of greenery and flowering sweet scented shrubs, palms and banana trees through which glimpses of the sea sparkle and shine.
Location
There’s a variety of tavernas which back the sandy beach of this small coastal village, just 5 mins walk from Villa Atlantis. Most menus feature, amongst other choices, fish caught that day and brought into the small harbour at the far reaches of the beach. Many have tables and chairs spilling out on to the beach itself and the sandy beach, scattered with pebbles and backed by tamarisk is a popular stopping point for tourists. Once evening arrives, a laid back atmosphere descends on this little seaside village and Katelios seems almost set adrift under the stars on the coast of this small Greek Island.
There are also a couple of minimakets and a baker just an easy stroll from the Villa.

Owner very friendly and helpful. Great location, but warning as the entrance is steep. Really well laid out and spacious external area. Quiet and peaceful location. Short walk to plenty of beach and local bars and restaurants. Great views from villasee more

We had a wonderful week in Villa Atlantis, escaping from a stuffy and busy London. The location was superb and we loved being away from people, but having access to the Katelios restaurants for breakfast (Greek yoghurt, fruit and honey) and dinner, see more
We had a wonderful week in Villa Atlantis, escaping from a stuffy and busy London. The location was superb and we loved being away from people, but having access to the Katelios restaurants for breakfast (Greek yoghurt, fruit and honey) and dinner, which we always ambled down to. It was very hot, and after a couple of days of trying to go out and discover bits of the island, we realised we had everything we needed at the villa around the pool area and so just stayed there. Some of the restaurants even did delivery, which we made use of. The children (9 and 7) would have been happy to do nothing else all holiday apart from play around the pool. I cannot fault anything about the villa and have wonderful memories of the view and listening to cicadas.

This was our second holiday in this wonderful villa (and our third Freelance holiday). We loved it just as much this time. The villa is well equipped, has wonderful views, a lovely pool, stunning gardens and great location just a ten minute walk to tsee more

The villa is well equipped, has wonderful views, a lovely pool, stunning gardens and great location just a ten minute walk to the excellent tavernas and bars in Katelios. A special mention must be made of Gabi, who immediately fixed any small problems, and the lovely lady who maintained the gardens and cleaned the villa. Would love to come back again!

Great location near to Katelios with its good selection of tavernas and bars. Only 5-10 minutes to walk down but a little longer on the way back. Lovely area and lovely villa.
