Villa Dioni is a beautiful, newly renovated romantic hideaway for two, nestled in the peaceful hills of Veni, surrounded by olive groves and the timeless Cretan landscape. With a fantastic private pool and a wonderfully secluded setting, it offers complete privacy and a true sense of escape, yet remains just under 10 minutes from the bustling fishing village of Kolymbari.
With special deep personal roots — the owner has lovingly renovated and refurbished the villa to share this cherished spot with others. Thoughtful touches of tradition and original features blend effortlessly with modern comforts and convenience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout.
Designed exclusively for couples, Villa Dioni invites you to slow down and reconnect. In the cooler months of April and October, enjoy cosy evenings by the wood-burning stove, while in summer the large garden, terraces, and private pool provide the perfect setting for long, sun-filled days of relaxation.
Although wonderfully tranquil, Kolymbari’s tavernas, shops, and the beaches of Nopigia and Kolymbari are just minutes away, with iconic beaches such as Elafonissi, Falassarna, and Gramvousa/Balos within easy reach—making Villa Dioni an ideal base for both romance and exploration.


Close to the sea, and on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, the villa is within easy reach of some of Western Crete's most stunning scenery and beaches. Visit Kissamos, Falassarna and Elafonisi for stunning sandy sweeps, or head to the Samaria Gorge and the towering White Mountains for breathtaking hikes.
Outside Villa Dioni
Swimming Pool - 3m x 7m, depth 0.90m x 1.50m tiled, step entry and bench with air jets.

Poolside Terrace - (two steps up) Sun beds with cushions, parasol, small lawn and outdoor shower.
Second Raised Terrace - Outdoor sofa with cushions and gas BBQ.
Covered terrace - Dining table with chairs.
Covered bedroom terrace - Table and chairs.
Small garden next to the pool with a variety of local plants & veggies, plus a lemon and orange tree.
On the far side of the grounds are parking areas both inside & outside of the gated grounds.

Inside Villa Dioni - Ground floor
Open Plan Living/ Kitchen area - Three seater sofa with coffee table, Smart 43” TV with bluetooth soundbar, wood burning stove (firewood payable locally) plus wifi. Dining table with chairs. Air Con Unit.

Kitchen area - Large sink, dishwasher, 4 ring ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave, Nespresso & filter coffee machine, large fridge freezer plus window with pool terrace view.

Double bedroom - Queen sized bed, (1.70m x 2.00m) wardrobe, dressing table with mirror. French doors to the side covered terrace. Window facing pool terrace. Air Con unit.

Shower room- Shower cubicle with sliding glass doors, wash basin with mirror, W.C and washing machine.

Housekeeping
Your Villa will be prepared for you on arrival with fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up.
For stays of 7 nights or more - house towels will be changed every 3 - 4 days.
For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen will be changed every 7 days.
Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay.Parking - Inside the gated grounds of the villa at the rear of the villa.
