Looking for a peaceful and relaxing retreat, yet in close distance to the charms of Old Town Pollensa? Villa Martorell could be the place! Sleeping 6, and with a great, mountain-backed, fruit-tree packed outdoor space, plus large swimming pool, it is an ideal holiday base to enjoy northern Mallorca.
There is an authentic farmhouse feel in the property, with beams, traditional features and tiled floors. The living room offers comfortable seating and satellite TV, opening through large French doors to the central terrace. Whilst the well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining room are cool and airy spaces to plan out the day ahead.
Step outside the kitchen to the covered terrace, furnished with an outdoor sofa, large dining table and built-in barbecue, to find the perfect gathering place for long lunches. There is also seating in the sun, and of course loungers and parasols that sit invitingly beside the 9m x 4m swimming pool.
Three bedrooms give a choice of a double, having an en-suite bathroom and access to the terrace through French doors, and two twin rooms that share a shower room. A utility room with washing machine can also be found outside with terrace access.
At only 1.2km distance, the old streets of Pollensa are waiting to be explored, a rewarding experience day or evening, as there is a plethora of tapas bars, restaurants and small shops waiting to be discovered.
Beaches can be found at Puerto de Pollensa, Cal San Vicenc and many more a little further afield.
The mountainous area is renowned for mountain biking and hiking, and the magnificent scenery, dotted with small hamlets on the hillsides, make this a picturesque backdrop for fabulous holiday memories.
