Description
For those looking for a luxury villa with an ideal location, just a few minutes walk from the old town of Pollenca, yet with a quiet position and private swimming pool, Villa Rotger is a real find. Built in a traditional Mallorcan style and boasting a superb pool & outdoor space, families or friends can enjoy a relaxing holiday within easy reach of amenities.
Plenty of parking, if needed, leads to the main entrance to the house and a stepped front porch. The main door leads directly into the large & light living room, which is warm and inviting with beamed ceiling, tiled floor and traditional furnishings & decor. A generously sized dining table & chairs gives an indoor option for dining, or perhaps cosy family games in the evening, whilst to the other end of this room is a cosy sitting area with satellite TV (limited channels/news only), arranged around a decorative fireplace, and double doors to the terrace.
The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with everything needed to make holiday catering simple, and includes a breakfast table ideal for morning coffee. The kitchen leads out to the covered verandah to the side of the villa and the garden beyond.
From the living area, a corridor to the bedrooms and bathrooms. All three light & bright bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units (timed) and have simple, restful decor. There is a choice of one double bedroom and two twin bedded rooms. The larger twin room has a modern feel, plenty of storage and opens onto the terrace. The double and second twin are more traditionally finished. The bedrooms all share a full bathroom inside the villa, with the addition of a shower room outside which also has useful access from the poolside area.
Outdoors, the large and shady covered terrace wraps around the villas and is furnished for dining and relaxation. Direct access in and out of the villa and lovely views across the pool and private terraces make this the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining or curl up with a book. There is a built-in BBQ on one of the terrace areas, making long lazy al fresco suppers by the pool an integral part of a holiday here.
The setting of the beautiful swimming pool amongst the lush and colourful shrubs and hedging, with views to the mountains in the distance, gives a private holiday feel. A good sized pool, it has Roman entry steps and a refreshing dip at any time of day can be followed up with a long snooze on one of the sunbeds on the terrace.
This is a perfect option for a relaxing holiday, where a car is not needed since the town is within walking distance - the main square of Pollensa is around 800m from the villa. Charming cobbled streets, authentic tapas bars and restaurants, small shops and hidden alleyways make Old Pollensa a favourite place to explore and soak up the atmosphere of a more traditional Mallorca.
In line with local energy saving initiatives, the air conditioning has timers on all units from 17:30 to 19:30 and from 22:00 to 09:00.
