Ca’n Piedro is a wonderful Majorcan semi-detached country house in the beautiful area of Boquer, very close to Puerto Pollenca and its beaches.
Thick stone walls, high beamed ceilings and original tiled floors keep the finca cool in the height of summer. It is furnished with some beautiful polished antique Majorcan furniture, some of it original to the house. Enormous sensitivity to the buildings' original design and decoration has been used to make updates to the building, but really making this Finca stand out amongst others are its stunning gardens and large pool with views over Puerto Pollensa and the bay.

Location
The popular resort of Puerto Pollensa, with its seemingly endless choice of restaurants and bars is a little over a 10 minutes’ walk and the beach just 5 mins further. Ca’n Piedro is surrounded by some of the most impressive scenery on Mallorca and makes a good base for walking, bird-watching, sketching and cycling.
There is a private trekking/trail running circuit of 310 metres to the rear of the Villa.

First Floor
Double bedroom - 1 double bed, windows to mountain.
Twin bedroom,ensuite bathroom- 2 single beds, mountain view window. Ensuite bath with shower over, wash basin, W.C Con. unit
Twin bedroom - 2 single beds, windows to hillside. Air Con. unit
Family bathroom - Bath with shower over, wash basin, WC.

Housekeeping
Your Villa will be prepared for you on arrival with fresh bath and hand towels, beds will be made up.
For stays of 7 nights or more - house towels will be changed every 3 - 4 days.
For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen is changed every 7 nights.

Parking
There is plenty of parking space for cars at the entrance to the property.

Occupying a lovely mature position, nestled in the countryside only a mile from the beach at Puerto Pollenca, the beautiful and private Villa Barracca enjoys rugged views of the Tramuntana Mountains. With the amenities of Puerto Pollensa so close by, with its plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops, you will be spoilt for choice throughout your villa holiday.

The entrance to Villa Barracca has an electric gate to the driveway and parking for two vehicles. The well-kept garden has mature hedges, shady areas and neatly trimmed lawns, surrounding the inviting mosaic-tiled swimming pool.

Leading to the main entrance, a traditionally constructed covered terrace wraps around the house, and is furnished with a large dining table & benches, as well as comfortable easy chairs. This is a lovely spot to enjoy a sunny breakfast, or to relax in the evening with a long drink. You will also find a brick-built BBQ, ideal for simple lazy lunches spilling out on the adjoining pool terrace.

The front door leads into the living-dining room, furnished in a tasteful & traditional Spanish style featuring wrought iron on the windows, exposed beams, ornamental fireplace and simple pieces complementing the room. This spacious, open-plan room has comfortable sofas and a flat screen satellite TV (limited channels/news only) in the relaxing sitting area, whilst the dining end provides ample seating for 6 people. There is also Wi-Fi internet access at the house.

Through to the attractive fitted kitchen, boasting extensive storage & prep space, a breakfast bar, and all the equipment you need to make your stay stress-free - a dishwasher & washing machine along with oven & hob and fridge-freezer. You can step straight out from the kitchen to the terrace and pool, making al fresco holiday breakfasts simple.

Villa Barracca’s traditional, restful decor continues throughout the three large bedrooms. The double bedroom and a twin room are located on the ground floor, off the living area, as well as the two separate bathrooms. Up the stairs, which lead directly into the particularly large twin bedroom, you will find a lovely light and welcoming room. This twin bedroom enjoys a large private terrace overlooking the garden and swimming pool, and taking in stunning views of the surrounding Boquer Valley. The bedrooms do have air conditioning/heating units on timers.

The outdoor area at Villa Barracca gives a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The delightful 8x4m pool with roman entry steps is the centrepiece, surrounded by paving to one side and trees providing shade to the other. There will be no shortage of places to sit and snooze, sun-worship, or read a good book, as there are plenty of poolside sunbeds and chairs under the shaded terrace. Spend endless sunny days relaxing by the pool and cooking up a storm on the BBQ. Although it won’t take much effort to make the very short trip to the beach or town at Puerto Pollensa!
