Don Salvatore is a large and beautiful property, providing elegant and comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people in an enviable location. Enveloped in its own lush garden, with fruit trees and a stunning private pool, this is a villa for relaxing and soaking in the surroundings of south-east Sicily. The historic centre of Syracuse is under 5km in one direction, with soft sandy beaches and the pristine Plemmiro marine protected area in the other. Having been recently renovated to retain traditional features and style, Don Salvatore has spacious living accommodation as well as the generous outdoor living space for dining, chilling and swimming. Star attraction is of course the 10 x 5 m swimming pool, set in a large terrace, and inviting guests to cool down any time of day. Plenty of loungers and an outside shower mean you don’t need to move very far! The villa is all on one level, with large rooms, classic decor and all mod-cons. The large and light living room with dining area has plenty of comfortable seating, as well as formal dining, under the stunning high beamed ceiling. A well equipped kitchen ensures all catering needs are met, or make use of the BBQ for al fresco dining on the covered terrace. Bedrooms offer options for a larger party of family or friends. There is a double suite, which boasts a dressing room and en-suite shower room. Two attractive double rooms are traditionally furnished, plus two lovely single bedrooms. These bedrooms share a choice of a well-appointed shower-room and a bathroom between them. With the easy access to historic towns, powder-soft beaches and nature reserves, this is a fabulous choice of villa for a memorable holiday discovering Sicily. The outside space is undoubtedly glorious, but the villa also delivers not just on looks, but on versatility as well. There are two separate ‘units’ as part of the overall villa, so if you are an extended family, or friends holidaying together, there is space for privacy as well as the fun of coming together in the pool, on one of the spacious terraces, or for a delicious feast cooked up in the outside kitchen. Inside, the tasteful classic decor, combined with all mod-cons such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Hi-Fi, plus washing machine & dishwasher, makes Villa del Mito an extremely comfortable holiday base. A large and light living room, with comfortable sofas and a formal dining area, is a relaxing space to gather and enjoy some quiet time. Three sets of large glass doors bring the outside in and offer easy access to the beautiful gardens. The compact but well equipped kitchen provides everything needed, and with the fantastic outdoor kitchen just outside on the main terrace, keeping everyone fed will be a pleasure! The two double bedrooms are calming and comfortable and both have en-suite shower rooms with large walk-in showers. Inside the curved walls of the separate annex is the second private accommodation, ideal for older teens, extended family or friends holidaying together. Simply & cleanly decorated, there is a living room, which has a sofa bed if needed, fitted kitchenette area, along with a double bedroom, a single bedroom and shower room. Villa del Mito is a wonderful location for a fabulous holiday enjoying the best of this area - Syracuse and its history, Arenella and Fontane Biance beaches, Mount Etna and Taormina, the nature reserves of Vendicari & Cavagrande del Cassibile.
