Description
The superb sea view from either the balcony, bedroom or living area through the floor to ceiling patio doors is what makes Rouladina Apartment 5 extremely popular.
Set amongst a patchwork of green vineyards on the hillside just 500 metres from sandy Stalos beach, Rouladina Apartment 5 is one of a group of just 6 apartments in a quiet neighbourhood. Since they were first introduced to our program, the Rouladina Apartments have proved consistently popular and guests return year after year. They come back, not only for the location and comfort of the apartments, but for the warm welcome from the owners, Manolis and Dimitra. They have their own apartment and take care of the property and their guests with a perfect combination of discrete Canadian/Greek efficiency and genuine Cretan hospitality.
Location Stalos
Just a short stroll downhill from the apartments there is a choice of several tavernas, shops and mini markets. Opposite the apartments is a family run taverna which has been approved by several guests as well. The long sandy beach of Stalos runs for 7kms merging with Agia Marina and Platanias, which are more bustling in peak season vs the low key Stalos beach. There is a regular bus service to Chania on the main road in Stalos.

Shared Swimming Pool - 10m x 5m swimming pool. Depth 1.1m - 2m.
Sea View Poolside Terrace - furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas
Reception area - library and luggage storage (for arrival/departure day), shower, WC and washing machine.
Rear Terrace – peaceful rural views of the vineyards stretching away up the hillside, sunbeds, table and chairs with umbrella (this terrace is shared with No 6 only).
Outside Rouladina Apartment 5 - second floor apartment
Private terrace – Sea view furnished with table and chairs
Bedroom terrace –Sea view and rattan comfy chairs.

Sitting area – L shaped sofa (sofa-bed), full-length patio windows with sea view, local TV and air con unit.
Dining area - wooden dining table and chairs.
Kitchen - Wooden cupboards, electric oven with hobs, double sink and fridge freezer.
Double bedroom - 1 double bed, wardrobe, ceiling fan, full-length patio windows balcony with sea and pool views.
Twin bedroom with en suite shower room - 2 single beds (can be placed together), wardrobe, ceiling fan, window to side. Shower room, hand basin and WC.
Family bathroom - full bath with shower attachment, wash hand basin and WC.
A 5th person can be accommodated on the sofa-bed
Housekeeping
Your apartment will be prepared for you on arrival with fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up.
For stays of 7 nights or more - house towels will be changed every 3 - 4 days.
For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen will be changed every 7 days.
Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay.
Parking
On site there is parking for four cars plus ample off road parking.

Our favourite place, in Greece and a lovely and welcoming family of owners, who we now know so well after years of staying at Rouladina 5.

Excellent apartment, with all that we might need and more. Dimitra, Manolis and their daughter Dina really do show true Cretan hospitality and are lovely and interesting people. The location is excellent and the views are a joy. All that we need for a break away from the UK (especially after missing out last, lockdown, year). Very good tavernas, too, within 2 to 10 minutes away. We are 'up the hill', from the bustle of the busier beachfronts of Kato Stalos and Agia Marina - but it's all there when you want it. Chania is only a bus ride or a 20 minute drive away and is one of the loveliest towns in Greece. |

The apartments are beautiful with a lovely shared pool, which until our last day we practically had to ourselves. The owners were lovely and helpful and couldn't have been more welcoming. The apartments are very central. You can walk into town with tsee more
The apartments are beautiful with a lovely shared pool, which until our last day we practically had to ourselves. The owners were lovely and helpful and couldn't have been more welcoming. The apartments are very central. You can walk into town with the local tavernas within 5 minutes and there are lots of buses to take you to the larger town of Chania. We hired a car for a few days so that we could explore the rest of the island. I would have no hesitation in recommending these apartments.

Our stay at Rouladina in Kato Stalos was excellent. Our hosts were most kind and the apartment (No 5) exceeded our expectations. The apartement is spacious enough for our family of 5, the pool area is very nice and the location is quiet with some 500see more
