Description
The minimalist, modern Villa Rhea, has been recently constructed with traditional materials in the hillside village of Kokkino Chorio. The views are stunning, and it’s an idyllic spot for a relaxing holiday in this beautiful area of Crete. Beaches are in very easy reach - Almyrida is around 2.5km, where the choice of tavernas, cafes and bars is as good as the fine, long sands. The village of Kokkino Chorio offers local amenities within a short walk, and Plaka is also along the road, with a number of good shops and tavernas.
At this luxurious villa, a gorgeous L-shaped pool includes a hydromassage section, and sits in front of the villa - certainly making the most of the views from the poolside! On the beautiful sleek terrace there is also an outside dining area, complete with large table & chairs and a purpose built BBQ alongside.
Inside, the feel of being pampered continues. The villa offers two double bedrooms - with king size beds and en-suite shower rooms, and a twin bedroom, all the beds having Cocomat mattresses for a good night’s sleep. Bathrooms are spacious and superb, and are complete with bathrobes, slippers & toiletries.
A well-equipped modern kitchen, dining area and inviting large sofa are found in the airy open plan living room, which feels incredibly spacious thanks to the impressive high ceiling. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax and take advantage of the well-served villa - the owners have provided a very comfortable home-from-home, with satellite TV, books and even board games and a Playstation for quiet nights in.
At just under 30km from Chania, Kokkino Chorio is a great base - a small traditional Greek village but with all the essentials, including mini-market, tavernas, kafenion, ATM’s, and a fuel station. The beautiful sandy beach at Almyrida is just a few minutes away by car, approx 2.5km.
