Description
In a lovely rural location amongst rolling wooded hillsides, this hugely atmospheric old farmhouse, has a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern plumbing, with the entire first floor, in the eaves of the house, restored from scratch to accommodate all bedrooms, a shower room and two full bathrooms plus a lovely spacious sitting room. All the villas rooms have attractive sloping beamed ceilings with windows peeping out just below the original tiled roof enjoying enchanting pastoral views.
Location
Situated off a small country road that meanders through gorgeous scenery between Old Pollenca and the hill village of Campanet, which is just over 4km away and no more than a quick trip in the car should you want fresh bread for breakfast
For general shopping or wining and dining it's no more than a 10-minute drive from the villa to Campanet, 15-minutes to Old Pollenca or a little further to the beaches at Puerto Pollenca.
If you're partial to fresh eggs for breakfast you may find a basketful awaiting your arrival as Hort D'en Gelos is next door to a smallholding belonging to the owners, with chickens and a few sheep.

Entrance terrace - steps lead down from the parking area along a pretty tree lined path to the shady terrace that runs the length of the Finca.

Pantry - storage for kitchen utensils
Shower room - Walk in shower, washbasin, WC, washing machine. (2019, Newly refurbished, a smart walk in shower replaces the bathtub.)
First Floor
Living room - Sofas and easy chairs. Satellite TV. (Limited English programmes). Upright piano (please use with respect) Windows with lovely views to the hillside.

The property met our intergenerational family party's needs very well indeed. Loved the pool, and the outside eating area. On the whole we all slept well (except those with a 4 month old baby to look after).

We had a wonderful holiday here with all our family. The traditional house gave us a taste of the real Majorca, and we made good use of the private pool. We appreciated the privacy that the house and garden gave us. Our hosts were welcoming, and madesee more

We appreciated the privacy that the house and garden gave us. Our hosts were welcoming, and made our stay special with gifts of fruit and vegetables from the garden.It was an ideal place to explore northern Majorca. I would highly recommend this villa, and we hope to return for a second stay

After a very stressful 2 day journey with flight issues with Ryanair - Chris and the freelance team made our stay SO amazing with great communication anytime we needed them, really helpful notes and complete understanding as we were late to check in see more

We had a such lovely week , all 8 of us. The villa was even better than we expected / pictures fo not even do it justice, it has a beautiful Spanish feel. We were welcomed by Francisco who was super friendly, kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend to families and I would 100% come back another year!!!! Thank you for making myself and my families experience to Majorca so smooth and enjoyable

Villa Assumpcio enjoys some spectacular mountain scenery as the backdrop to its setting in beautiful mature and lush gardens. This traditional stone villa is attractive and has a private position, although there are a handful of other villas along the same residential cul-de-sac location. Just 2kms away, all the charms of the authentic old town of Pollensa are waiting to be explored, with cobbled streets, boutiques, tapas bars and historic buildings. Guests will enjoy relaxing and soaking up the sun on the lawn, terrace and in the fabulous 8 x 4m pool. After a refreshing dip, the spacious covered verandah provides welcome shade and the ideal spot for a long lunch as well as sheer relaxation. There is an outdoor kitchen, making this a pleasurable and sociable way to feed the family! Traditionally built and welcoming, inside the villa boasts beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and authentic pieces and furnishings. The main living area is an open plan dining and sitting room, cosy with its large corner fireplace, comfy sofa and TV to one end. Centrally positioned is a large dining table & chairs with plenty of room for 8 people. A spacious fitted kitchen leads off from here, and holiday catering is well serviced with plenty of equipment, as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and the outside kitchen & BBQ.
