Description
Set on the rising coastline, overlooking the sea, where you can see, on clear days, right across to the mainland and watch ferries, sailing boats and pleasure yachts plying their way to and fro. Villa Sakos is beautifully finished and designed to be ideal for families or groups of up to three couples, each double bedded bedroom has either a bathroom or shower room en-suite. There is a sofa bed in the larger bedroom for those who require a room with two beds - maybe for teenagers or children.
Location
In a quiet area just out of town, it’s 1.2 kms along the coast from the laid back resort of Skala and a pleasant evening stroll can be followed by a returning short taxi ride back.
If you’d rather not move even that far from the Villa (perfectly understandable), then within a 5 minute walk there is a lovely little undiscovered pebbly cove with beautiful clear water.
There is also a choice between two excellent tavernas just a short walk away.

We stayed in Villa Sakos for 6 nights in July and had a wonderful week . The outside space is just amazing with the most spectacular view. The pool is very well maintained and the villa itself was very clean and the beds were comfortable . It is just a short walk to some very nice restaurants or a slightly longer walk into Skala itself which has a huge choice of delicious places to eat. We met the villa owner who was very friendly and extremely helpful . We would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone and hope to return ourselves in the near future.

The villa provides spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation set in well maintained grounds. A good sized pool is kept in great condition. We could not fault the villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our long-awaited holiday.

Amazing villa, full on sea views right overlooking the sea, well equipped and friendly owner ,we spend most days by the pool, with a couple of day trips and visits to the local bay, great tavernas within a 5 min walk (Nautilus our favourite) we also see more
Amazing villa, full on sea views right overlooking the sea, well equipped and friendly owner ,we spend most days by the pool, with a couple of day trips and visits to the local bay, great tavernas within a 5 min walk (Nautilus our favourite) we also walked into the centre of Skala many nights (about 15 mins stroll) our favourite tavernas there was "The Pines", the perfect villa in Skala, we will be back !

We spent the last 11 days in Villa Sakos on Kefalonia and fell in love with the island, the house and the pool from day one. There were four of us and had more than enough space in the 3 bedrooms. We also enjoyed that each bedroom had its own fully esee more
We spent the last 11 days in Villa Sakos on Kefalonia and fell in love with the island, the house and the pool from day one. There were four of us and had more than enough space in the 3 bedrooms. We also enjoyed that each bedroom had its own fully equipped bathroom. Everything was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with huge fridge, microwave, sandwich toaster etc. Also, there were plenty of cooking utensils. The garden with terrace and pool is very nicely laid out and the pool is big enough and also very well maintained. The blast is of course the view of the sea, simply incomparable and every morning you can enjoy the sunrise from the bedroom. Every day we explored the island by rental car and discovered beautiful bays and beaches. The island has so many beautiful corners that it definitely will not get boring. Clear recommendation, anytime again and a big thank you to the great team of Freelance Holidays! "

This is a beautiful Villa overlooking the sea with space for six although - rather indulgently - it was just the two of us on this occasion. The views are incredible and there is a small beach cove a few minutes walk and down some steps where you cansee more
This is a beautiful Villa overlooking the sea with space for six although - rather indulgently - it was just the two of us on this occasion. The views are incredible and there is a small beach cove a few minutes walk and down some steps where you can sunbath and snorkel. There are a few restaurants within ten minutes walk and walking into town is less than half an hour all along the sea front. The Villa was beautifully kept and spotlessly clean. If you wish to eat in then it has all the amenities to make it a home from home. We would highly recommend the Villa and the Freelance Team.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Sakos! The villa is on a quieter road further up from Skala town centre but still close enough to stroll down to the bars and restaurants. It was peaceful and relaxing, Diane made sure we were happy throughout our staysee more
