Description

This lovely two bedroom sea view Villa sits in the centre of its private garden with stunning sea views. The layout of the Villa and its gardens are all about easy relaxed living, with the pool, dining terraces and sun terraces all no more than a few steps away. Shrubs and trees surround the lawns, so uninterrupted privacy is assured. Inside, the Villa is well equipped and furnished with comfortable sofas in the living area and a well organised kitchen. Both bedrooms have en suite two bath/shower rooms.

Location, Spartia
One of an exclusive group of Villas each set privately in its own gardens, occupying the Liakias peninsular and a few kilometers from tiny Spartia village. A short walk down the hill takes you to an interesting rock formation with a platform lapped by the sea. There's a sandy beach just a 5min drive away, above which The Waterways Taverna entices boat owners to tie up at the small jetty below.
Sparta's maze like narrow roads all lead to the village centre, where there are two mini markets and a couple of tavernas. For more choice, the lovely town of Argostoli is just a 20min drive away .

Our time at Villa Afroditi exceeded expectations!

The pool, villa and grounds are immaculately maintained. We never saw the caretaker of the pool, but we knew he had been there earlier every morning, as the pool was always clean and ready for the day when we awoke. We appreciated the privacy! When "at home" we spent most of our time in and around the pool and under the gazebo. The outdoor spaces are so inviting and the views so lovely, that we never dined inside or watched the TV in the living room. Outdoor living at its finest! The Welcome Booklet emailed ahead of time, along with the information/instructions posted at the villa is very helpful. We dream of our return!

There are already lots of "luxury touches", but slip covers (which can be laundered along with the towels) for the chaise lounges would be a nice add. The beach towels are not long enough to cover the entire chair, so slip covers would help to keep them clean of sunscreen, pool water and perspiration. There is nothing else I could possibly think of to improve!
