Description
The layout of the Villa and its gardens are all about easy relaxed living, with the pool, dining terraces and sun terraces all no more than a few steps away This lovely three bedroom sea view Villa sits in the centre of its private garden with stunning sea views. Shrubs and palm trees surround the sloping lawns, so uninterrupted privacy is assured. Inside, the Villa is well equipped and spacious, plus comfortable sofas in the living area and a well organised kitchen. To match the three bedrooms there are three bath/shower rooms.
Location - Spartia
One of an exclusive group of Villas each set privately in its own gardens and occupying the Liakias peninsular and a few kilometers from tiny Spartia village. A short walk down the hill takes you to an interesting rock formation with a platform lapped by the sea, Cape Liakas. There's a sandy beach just a 5min drive away, above which The Waterways Taverna entices boat owners to tie up at the small jetty below.
Spartia's maze like narrow roads all lead to the village centre, where there are two mini markets and a couple of tavernas and for more choice, Argostoli is just a 20 min drive away

Stunning views across to Zante. Villa was spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. It was great to find convenient basics like dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, cloths, bin bags, toilet paper, salt & pepper etc. We've stayed in plenty of villas with nothing.
Cleaners came twice a week and changed bedding and towels and cleaned top to bottom which was great. Pool seemed to be cleaned daily (when its windy sand does get blown in). The pool area was lovely with 6 good sunbeds and a sun shaded area. A lovely patio with table and chairs and another comfortable seating area. Around the pool was tiled but beyond that laid to grass with lots of plants. Pool idea for most people especially families, but was a little smaller than I'd like so you can't really do a length with more than 3 or 4 strokes and was only 5 foot (1.5m) deep at most. This certainly isn't a complaint and many would enjoy it for this reason, but it is quite remote. Its around a 6 or 7 min drive to nearest village with shop and restaurant - which over 2 weeks became a bit of a drag. However that's the price you pay for stunning views and quiet. There is a small rocky beach area with free sunbeds and parasols (only a few) around a 5 min walk. There's a ladder into the sea from the rocks and its perfectly safe. Finally, communication with Freelance was excellent both before and during with prompt, professional responses. |

Villa Kephalos is fantastic. The views across the sea towards Zakinthos are superb and the landscaping and planting around the villa are so well designed and maintaned.
The pool and the villa are kept immaculate by the Likas team.

Without doubt, the best location for a holiday Villa we’ve ever had. The view is outstanding, nice and quiet ( there is a single track road opposite the property which leads to the sea and a few other villas, but hardly any traffic).

Without doubt, the best location for a holiday Villa we’ve ever had. The view is outstanding, nice and quiet ( there is a single track road opposite the property which leads to the sea and a few other villas, but hardly any traffic).
The Villa is well equipped, spacious and the grounds/ garden well maintained. The Villa service team are very efficient, friendly and quick with changing bedding, towels etc. The Villa management is also very good. We had a slight electrical glitch with the fridge and aircon which was sorted out straight away, many thanks to Diane the operations manager for excellent communication and swift action. You will need a car for this Villa as it’s quite rural (for supermarket shopping ) but the local village of Spartia is a comfortable distance to walk. There’s a fabulous restaurant right in the centre that is very popular…..and for good reason. We also liked the small coffee shops, which again are excellent. At Spartia beach, there’s a couple more restaurants that are also well worth visiting……we had excellent meals and service from both. To sum up, a brilliant holiday and we’ll definitely be back. |

Information and tips in the form of brochures about the island, its history and, of course, places worth seeing were also useful. The greatest advantage of the villa is definitely the view that can be seen from it. Gorgeous. Breakfast on the terrace, swimming in the pool evening rest on the sun loungers all the time overlooking the sea - unforgettable moments. The villa is located off the beaten track, which in our opinion is a huge advantage and ensures peace and quiet. Several other holiday homes are located in close proximity, but the terrain and development of the plot do not feel it at all, but provide a sense of security. The location of the villa is also not a problem when it comes to reaching further locations, such as the beaches of Myrtos, Petani, Antisamosthe city of Fiskardo. You can get there by car in about an hour and a half. And the trip around the island is a fun experience because Kefalonia is beautiful.
Perhaps the best recommendation is that we are considering coming again next year and would like to recommend this place to our friends. Thank you for a great stay. |

The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. Diane Steger, our contact person from the Freelance-Holidays Team, has contacted us as soon as the reservation was made to give us all the possible info we might need. In the villa we found a very complete and comprehensive booklet with even more info on the villa and the region. So a well earned 10/10 for communication and reachability.

If you want peace and quiet with privacy and full on sea views this is a villa for you. Cleaned every 2 days which was very impressive., And thanks to Diane for taking our calls late one evening without any hint of disruption.
