Description
A sea view, larger than average pool, air con throughout and a choice of comfortable outside sitting areas, extending the living space out into the open air, are all the ingredients of a relaxing holiday and they can all be found here, at Villa Panos. Sea and mountain views from the bedrooms are a sheer joy to wake up to and the particularly deep and comfortable mattresses ensure a good night’s sleep.
This three bedroom Villa has been designed with easy 'holiday living’ in mind. The enclosed tiled courtyard surrounds the over sized pool where views of hills are framed by the sparkling sea. Beside the pool, a pergola shades the outside dining area, next to the barbecue.
Location
Villa Panos is one of a handful of pastel tinted Villas set, each in their own spacious grounds, atop a hillock 2.6 km from the coastline. Down on the coast, the sandy beaches, tavernas and shops attract a buzz of holidaymakers, a complete contrast to the peace and tranquility which surround Villa Panos. Just 950m down the hill (quite steep) is the village of Upper (Pano) Stalos where there are a couple of excellent tavernas. Chania beautiful Venetian harbour, whose lights from a twinkling backdrop at night time, is approx. 15 mins drive away and shouldn't be missed either by day or night.

Covered poolside Gazebo - table with bench seating, purpose built BBQ.
Sun terrace - sunbeds & umbrellas.
Covered terrace - rattan sofa and chairs.
Garden - area of flowering shrubs and small trees.
First floor - sea and mountain view balcony with table and chairs. Views of Chania town.

Kitchen/dining area - run of fitted cupboards, dishwasher,espresso maker (Nespresso original capsules), electric oven and 4 ring hob, fridge freezer, microwave, marble able and chairs, windows and door to BBQ area. Air Con Unit
Sitting area (3 steps down) -built- in cushioned seating either side of the fireplace. Flat screen satellite TV (limited channels/news only), DVD Player with speakers. French doors to covered terrace and garden.
Twin bedroom - 2 single beds, window to pool view and terrace, French doors leading to pool terrace. Air Con Unit
Shower room - walk in shower, hand basin, WC and washing machine.
First Floor
Double Bedroom with ensuite - 1 double bed, French doors to shared balcony with sea views Ensuite bathroom with corner bath and shower attachment, WC and hand basin. Air Con Unit

Your villa will be prepared for you on arrival with a set of fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up.
For stays of 7 nights or more - additional house towels are provided for a change mid-stay.
For stays of 14 nights or more - additional bed linen is also provided for a change mid-stay.

the welcome pack on arrival was greatly appreciated with a very easy check in. the only issue we had during the stay was a broken aircon unit, but all credit to Diane after getting in touch with her she was able to get a technician there the next day to repair it. Comfortable beds. Even more comfortable pillows. Quiet location up in the hills was just what we were looking for. Local supermarkets are limited but with a major store only a 10 minute drive away this was no issue for us. Would absolutely recommend and come back ourselves! |

We do try to let people stay longer on their check out day , whenever possible, unfortunatly we had a same day arrival and with the 1 hour (Covid-19 protocols) airing gap needed with housekeeping coming then after plus the clean its a lot to squeeze in, but thanks for your understanding, we hope to see you all again soon. We had a really great time at the Freelance-Holiday villa! Beautifully located up on the hill in the midst of olive groves, quiet and peaceful yet only few mins drive to the nearby grocery shops and beaches. The house itself was sparkling clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, with all the required amenities, a gorgeous swimming pool (suitable for both children and adults). During our 8-day stay the cleaning team came once which was an extra treat. As others have pointed out, the only road to the villa is quite narrow and very steep, and a bit tricky to find - so take this into account when arriving for the first time but the directions given by the Freelance-Holiday team were accurate and helpful and the location is definitely worth the trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Panos. The Welcome package was a nice surprise. We didn't miss anything during our stay and especially liked the fully equipped kitchen, the lovely flowers around the villa and the local restaurants guide & recommesee more

We didn't miss anything during our stay and especially liked the fully equipped kitchen, the lovely flowers around the villa and the local restaurants guide & recommendations. You definitely need a car but everything is nearby: many very good restaurants and Greek tavernas, different beaches, supermarkets, the beautiful city of Chania and even the national highway is easy to reach if you want to travel further and explore the island. We would definitely come back and stay even longer than a week. We didn't have any problems during our stay but the Freelance team asked if we needed anything on a regular basis

We love Pano Stalos and have been back on many occasions over the last 10 years, but this was the first time with Freelance. The villa was beautiful, well maintained and spotlessly clean with a lovely pool. The organization was excellent with regular email alerts leading up to the holiday and clear instructions for arrival, departure and cleaning during the stay. It was reassuring to have Diane on-hand locally on the two occasions we needed help the speed she was able to sort things out was impressive. The road leading to the villa is not for the fainthearted, it’s narrow and climbs rapidly, but the panoramic view at the top is worth the effort. We would recommend this villa
